Will adding coconut flakes to prepared cake batter alter the baking time?!
I wanted to make a coconut cake and I am wondering if I should add coconut flakes to the batter itself. Would it alter the baking time?

it wont change the baking time ...just insert a toothpick in the center of the cake and test it.....if it pulls out clean it is done......adding coconut wont matter ...hope this helps
It might make the baking time slightly longer (like a minute), but no, in general, it won't...
It shouldn't alter the baking time at all.
