How would I cook frozen shrimp cocktail in the microwave?!

Question: How would I cook frozen shrimp cocktail in the microwave?
They're precooked and cleaned, I think I just need to thaw them and pop em in the microwave until hot. But I want to be sure.
I don't have a stove, but I have a crock pot. Would they taste better in the crock pot or should I just mic them?

Answers:

Are you asking how should you THAW them, since they are frozen?

Well, shrimp cooks REALLY, REALLY fast in the microwave, and if overcooked, it toughens. So if you're wanting to thaw the frozen shrimp and presumably the cocktail sauce, stick them in the microwave on defrost and nuke them for ten SECONDS. Check them. Then repeat only if necessary.

The shrimp will probably defrost before the cocktail sauce, and once the shrimp are thawed, you can put the sauce in by itself and defrost for 30 seconds or a minute without worry. Cocktail sauce is just ketchup with horseradish (or if you like it really hot, wasabi) added to taste. Nuking won't hurt it.

You have to be really careful about warming things like fish in a microwave because it's so easy to over cook them and they'll be rubbery. As others suggested, since they're precooked, just thaw them out and serve cold.

Shrimp cocktail is a cold dish not a hot dish. Just thaw the pre-cooked shrimp amd serve with cold cocktail sauce.

Thaw them in slightly-less-than-cold water and pat them dry. No need to cook them at all.

Joshua, if they are precooked, there is no need to reheat them again.

Yeah. Thaw them, then use the microwave. No problem.
