how do i cook pasta...?!
anyway, i bought the curly pasta and some ragu sauce.. and i have green and red peppers.. is that all i need?
(its only for one person)
so what do i do?

Saute the peppers, add some onions if you have any. Pour in the sauce and allow it to gently simmer.
Bring a large pot of water to a rolling boil. Add a tablespoon or two of salt.
Add about 1 to 1 1/2 cups of pasta to the water. Boil for 5 to 7 minutes. Stir once or twice to prevent sticking. Test one of the noodles. It should be done but still a bit firm.
Drain. Add some of the sauce to the pasta. As much as you want. A full jar of sauce should be enough for 2 or 3 meals depending on how much you eat. If you boil a full pound of pasta add a bit of sauce to the remaining pasta and store in the refrigerator. When you re heat the pasta and sauce heat the sauce then add the pasta you want and heat through.
Boil a big pan of water
when it's boiling, drop the rotini in the water.
Stir it, and keep it cooking in high heat for 8 minutes. Take a pice out and nibble it to see if it's cooked the way you like it.
Chop the green and red peppers into small dice. Add to the ragu sauce.
Drain and oil the pasta. Use oil or butter.
Pour the sauce and peppers over the rotini and mix gently.
Pout into a bowl, and add some parmesan.
The Pot you should use is a saucepan, which is a high edged pot, don't use a low shallow frying pan.
First, fill a large pot 2/3 with water for the pasta. Set that on High. It takes a while for that to get to a boil. Once at a boil, add your pasta, stir with a fork until it gets back to a rapid boil. Then, cook for the amount of time it says on the box. You start counting the minutes from the time the water is back to a rapid boil. At the end of the cooking time, taste one pasta and see if you it’s done enough for you. If too firm, cook for another minute.
Wash and chop your peppers into bite size pieces. Add a tablespoon of oil (any kind- canola, vegetable, olive, peanut) to a large sauté pan or pot. Add the peppers and cook over med-high heat until they soften a little. Then, add the spaghetti sauce and simmer until your pasta is done. Drain your pasta and either add your pasta to the sauce or put the pasta on a plate and top with sauce. Most people like to top pasta with parmesan.

start by getting rid of the ragu, get one onion, two cloves of garlic three tomatoes some cooking oil, olive oil would work best but any cooking oil will do, in addition to this dry herbs like oregano, basil, marjoram fresh is better but dried herbs work well in a pinch, ok you need two pots, one you fill with water and a tablespoon of salt, use less if this is a really small pot get the water to a boil, while this is happening take the second pan pour in enough olive oil to thinly cover the bottom of the pan chop the onion put it into the the pan under a low heat, when the onion starts to look translucent (clear ) take the garlic crush it with the side of a knife or spoon take off the paper/skin drop it in to the onion oil mix while this heats up chop the tomato really well now your water should be at the boil so throw in your pasta stir it once it gets in the water stir it so it won't stick together, now get the tomatoes and put them in the pan with the onion garlic oil stir frequently oh and if you still have the peppers remove the seeds chop the peppers and put them in with the tomatoes, now check your pasta by taking a piece or two out run them under cool water so you don't burn yourself and taste, it should be soft but with a tiny bite at the end or cook it to the way you like it now drain the water 95% and toss the pasta into the other pan with the tomatoes etc toss this together take a little pinch of any of the herbs sprinkle on top toss again get a bowl do this often and you'll be creating lots of variations once you become confident in your skills and since it's only for one you can live with your own mistakes, one tip is stay close to the stove as unwatched food burns very quickly, this is basic easy cooking that you can expand on really easily a tiny bit of butter half a pat is also nice but not important

to make pasta, all you have to do is put uncooked noodles into boiling water, leave them in there and stir every few minutes, then strain them. test their softness before straining, if too firm then put em back in the water. i dont know about the peppers, though.
