Which is better to roast: ordinary potato or sweet potato?!

They are both good, but I think Sweet Potatoes have more taste and Potatoes are more bland. I prefer Sweet Potatoes.

I think it depends on what you are serving it with. Whenever I have potatoes with chicken or seafood, I cook normal, white potatoes. But when it comes down to red meat and pork, I go with sweet potatoes. I absolutely love sweet potatoes and beef roast.

For baking i always use Russet potatoes.
For boiling i use waxy potatoes, such as Charlotte.

But sweet potato would work down to your personal preference.

for me sweet potato tastes better that ordinary potato when roasted.

well it really does depend on what you are having with them and your tastes. I prefer red potatoes roasted.
