How long should I boil a boneless, skinless, frozen chicken breast?!

Question: How long should I boil a boneless, skinless, frozen chicken breast?
I'm not worried about it being tough or anything because its for my dog.

Answers:

The USDA food safety website says that frozen chicken needs about 50% longer cooking time. They recommend boiling a boneless chicken breast for 25-30 mins., so boil yours for about 45 mins. If you have an instead-read thermometer, it should register 165 degrees when it's done.

Put the chicken breast in a pot, cover it with water, bring it to a boil, reduce the heat, and let it simmer for about 45 mins.

Your dog is lucky to have you!
