I have a fully cooked turkey roast that I thawed out that has been in my grandmas freezer since 06/2009?!

No, no, no.....This turkey is close to 2 years old now - Throw it out!!
The answer is that in terms of safety, frozen turkeys will keep indefinitely in the freezer. Quality is another matter, however, and is said to decline after about a year. So if you are planning on having a juicy, flavorful turkey that you could confidently serve to family and guests you may need to add some gravy or other juices. I would say reheating it slowly in the oven tented somewhat tightly in aluminum foil and basted heavily with seasoned butter will help a lot.
I think you should pass on that one. For one, it was "pre cooked", and second because it's been in the freezer for more than one year it's probably about as appealing as saw dust by now. Very dry, and turkey already has a reputation for being dry anyway.
Toss that bird in the bin.
food does NOT spoil in the freezer and if it was well wrapped, it probably doesn't even have freezer burn.
Look for the freezer burn. It will appear white and dry looking which is exactly what it is.
However, that being said, I have noticed that cooked foods that are frozen for a long time can sometimes taste like the freezer smells, even well wrapped.
Cut a chunk off and smell and taste it.

6 months old I would say go for it...but you won't really know how much deterioration after this long if any...until it is thawed...And by then you might not have time to get something else for your dinner...
I think it is best to not consume this roast...
Have a great day...
was it frozen when you purchased it? if so check the date on it. if its a product you purchased fresh and then froze it yourself at home bin it.
If it was cooked when it was put in the freezer then it probably won't taste very good now as cooked meat suffers more from freezer burn than raw.
Since it is from 2009 that is pretty old. I would not trust it. That and it would probably not taste any good at this point.
I get a little wary of cooked proteins that have been frozen for more than 1 year. I'm not sure I would serve it.
I wouldn't eat anything that been frozen for more than a year. I would pitch the turkey
I wouldnt serve it
I wouldn't eat it.
