Carrots make your skin turn yellow not orange but you would have to eat a vast amount.
scrubs
Not a lot. While still breast feeding I gave my daughter a variety of bought baby food. One day my doctor asked me if I gave her a lot of carrots. 'No. Why?' He said, 'Because her nose is orange.'
I went home and took a closer look at the ingredients in the jars. It didn't matter if they were beef, chicken or pork, they all had carrots in them. That's when I stopped being lazy and started to cook and mash food for her.
Over a kilo a day. There's a case study called "The Orange Man And Other Stories of Medical Detection" by Berton Roueche that discusses just such a case. They called it "kerotinemia." The man in question was obsessed with carrots and ate them constantly.

I think it would be faster if you put them in a blender - liquefied them and concocted a lotion to apply to the skin - "?" - - if you wanted to be orange skinned
