7 Minutes Cake


Ingredients

1 cup semolina (rava)
4 cups plain flour (maida)
1 cup ghee
1 cup curds (dahi)
2 1/2 cups sugar
2 cups milk
1 tsp baking powder
a pinch baking soda
Method


mix everything and bake for 7 minutes in a microwave.

Egless sponge cake
Ingredients
1/2 tin (200 grams) condensed milk
140 gms self raising flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
60 ml melted butter or margarine
1 tsp vanilla essence
Method
1. Sieve the flour, baking powder and soda bi-carbb together.
2. Mix the flour mixture, condensed milk, melted butter, essence and 75 ml. (2 1/2 fl. Oz. ) water and beat well.
3. Pour the mixture into a greased and dusted 150 mm. (6") diameter tin.
4. Bake in a hot oven at 200 degree c (400 degree f) for 10 minutes. Then reduce the tempreture to 150 degree c (300 degree f) and bake for a further 10 minutes.
5. The cake is ready when it leaves the sides of the tin and is springy to touch. When ready, take out from the oven and leave for 1 minute. Invert the tin over a rack and tap sharply to remove.
6. Cool the cake.


Rich chocolate cake
Ingredients
2 tbsp cocoa powder
1 cup plain flour (maida)
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp soda bi-carb
1/2 cup condensed milk
1/2 cup melted butter
1 tsp vanilla essence
Method
1. Sieve the cocoa powder, plain flour, baking powder and soda bi-carb on a plate.
2. Combine all the ingredients together with 1/2 cup (100 ml.) of water in a bowl and mix well using a whisk.
3. Pour the mixture into a greased 150 mm. (6") diameter baking tin.
4. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180°c (360°f) for 20 minutes or until a knife inserted in the cake comes out clean.
5. Remove from the oven, cut into 1" square pieces.
6. Serve or use as per required



Hmmm, I don't know of any others off hand, but this is what I like. Get a WW smoothie packet (either chocolate or vanilla, doesn't matter as long as it's 2 POINTS), a banana, one cup of nonfat milk, and put it all in a blender. Add ice, as much or as little as you want. Add any extracts you like (optional). Blend it up, and you've got yourself one heckuva 4 POINTS smoothie. Mmmm!
