Lasagna pizza is a combination between lasagna and pizza wherein lasagna noodles are used as the crust and then topped with sauce, cheese and toppings before being baked

Lasagna pizza has all the same ingredients as lasagna, only served on a crust made with the lasagna noodles. It has sauce, lasagna noodles, ricotta AND mozzarella cheese, and some would also include parmesan and/or romano cheese as well. It's not just a ricotta instead of mozzarella. Lasagna is always made with both ricotta and mozzarella. It couldn't be lasagna without both cheeses (and the parm & romano). It wouldn't necessarily be made with marinara sauce... standard Italian sauce would generally be used, possibly sometimes substituting with marinara.

It's basically a pizza made of marina sauce and riccota cheese instead of normal mozz cheese.
