Want to make crock pot wings for the Superbowl - if I sear them the day before, will they keep?!

Question: Want to make crock pot wings for the Superbowl - if I sear them the day before, will they keep?
I like to sear meat before putting it in the crock pot - it seems to help the meat retain its juices, and it makes wings hold together better and look yummier. If I sear the wings the night before the game, will they be okay in the fridge overnight? Thanks :)

Answers:

Yes. The biggest thing with meat is not leaving it sit out uncooked, and once they're ready to eat, they probably won't be around long. So that won't be a concern, and cooking buys them another day in the frig, if necessary.

Yes, they will be just fine. If you are still worried about them, wait & sear them 1st thing Sunday morning & then pop them in the crock-pot to cook til game time.
