Chickpeas, Garbonzo beans, Black Beans, String Beans, Onion, place in a bowl, add Good Seasons Italian dressing to taste, ( bean salad )

Salad:- Chickpea
1 15 oz. can chickpeas
?C Olive oil
6 Cloves garlic, mashed
2T Lemon juice
1T Mint, finely chopped
Drain and rinse chickpeas 2-3 times. Allow to drain well in colander.

Place chickpeas in serving bowl and add lemon juice. Mix gently, taking care not to mash the chickpeas. Add garlic and mint, mixing well. Drizzle with olive oil.

Buy a box of couscous and cook it according to directions. then quickly sautee the chickpeas with onions, carrots and snow peas. Season to taste and mix it all together. If you eat cheese, sprinkle some grated parmasan over it.

Just a tip: If they are dried, they require overnight soaking (at least 8 hours, preferably 10). If they are canned, drain and rinse very well.

I like to add them to other beans and dress with a balsamic vinaigrette

stir fry with tofu or add to soup made with vegetable stock , tomatoes, celery etc and some Bok Choy sliced or puree into a dip with olive oil . Theis is using tinned chick peas if using dry need to be boiled soft first

What about 3 bean salad? It's on all recipes. Here is the link: http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Three-Bean-…
