can i use sandwich cheese on a omelet?!


Question: Can i use sandwich cheese on a omelet?
this is my first time making an omelet so can i use sandwich cheese or jack cheese?
i am making breakfast for dinner! ;)

I would say most cheese is good in an omelet...

You can use any cheese. If your sandwich cheese is American cheese, the jack would be better. If your sandwich cheese is a "real" sliced cheese like cheddar, swiss or provolone, use that.

If you use the jack cheese, shred it.



There really are no rules when it comes to making omelettes. Sandwich cheese is great, and any other kind of cheese will work too. Sandwich cheese might run a little so break it into pieces and put it in the center of the omelette.



sure not a problem! I use sliced cheese for sandwiches all the time in an omelet. It doesn't matter it all melts anyway's.
