Question: Is it bad if you put cold water on a baby that just got burned with hot soup water?

Water can actually make some skin burns blister. I hope you called the paramedics to take a look.
They could provide you with relief packs and give you guidance in these types of situations (ice, lotion, aloe, etc...) or tell take you to the hospital if necessary.

No, it's not bad as long as you use common sense and don't pour it or stick her face in the water. You better make sure she doesn't need medical care!!

cold water is used in first aid for burns ,but you should take the baby to the hospital just the same .

Since she is only 1 you should take her to the hospital since she can't tell u herself if she's burned really bad.

try to get some ice on the baby's face and bring down the temperature of the skin and do it now. suki
