What's the difference between a cream of _____ soup and chowder?!

Question: What's the difference between a cream of _____ soup and chowder?
Answers:

A cream soup is made with, well heavy cream or milk, whilst a chowder, which is also made with heavy cream or milk, has chunks of potatoes in it. If Clam or Corn Chowder did not have potatoes in it, they would be cream of clam or cream of corn soup
