How was rice used for trading and making money?!
I've researched a lot about rice and how it has been brought to the U.S and all, but I just can't seem to get my brainstorming to answer this question.. Help. Please :)

I believe you should have posted this in Homework Help or History.
I can tell you how to cook rice, or make a rice pudding, but I know nothing about the rice trade.

Well, I know Indonesia is the largest rice producer if that helps at all. You could say that demand for rice in the U.S. increased due to Asian immigrants. Since the United State. cannot make all the rice, they had to import boosting the economy of other (mostly Asian) countries.
