Can you get HIV from a cow?!

Question: Can you get HIV from a cow?
Okay so like if they found a cow on a farm and it had HIV, and they took it to the slaughter house, and packaged it up, and I went to the store and bought steak from that cow could it give me HIV? Thanks.

Answers:

HIV strains are different. Cow HIV, if it exists, is different from human HIV. And if you cook the steak, you will usually kill the HIV anyways.

no, you could not. cows cannot carry the human immunodeficiency virus, nor would it survive the packaging and treatment process of the meat

No bc after cooking the tempurate of the oven/stove will kill all bacteria.. thus no hiv.

It would kill the hiv when you cook it im assuming.

The H stands for HUMAN.
