What 'two eggs a week' rule? I've only heard the 'two eggs a day' rule.

Vegetarians can still eat eggs - they're not meat.

And vegetarians still need to stick to healthy levels of fat and cholesterol, i.e. not eat too many eggs. There are plenty of other sources of protein available.

First there is no 2 egg rule. If you have a medical issue your doctor may ''limit ''it to 3 1/2 yolks per week or less, but as many egg whites as you like.
Since its a limit not a requirement Vegetarians don't usually eat, or they get unfertilized eggs.

yes, because eggs are not meat. vegetarians eat animal byproducts, vegan do not.
