Question: Can i leave butter icing in fridge to use next day?First timer!!!?
Hi im pretty good at making cakes but am new at all this piping stuff, so its my daughters bday tomorrow and as an activity at the party im going to fill 3-4 pipes with butter icing so they can decorate their own cakes, can i make the butter icing now and put it in the fridge till tomorrow or will it go hard?? The more i get done today the better really, only helpful answers please!!

Answers:

Yes, it WILL get hard, but if you take it out of fridge for an hour or 2 before you want to use it, it will soften up, again.

I'm sure you can. My mum always makes cakes with butter icing and then puts them in the fridge. It doesn't go off for ages. You'll be fine. Have a great time! :)

Yes, of course you can.
Give it a mix-up again when you take it out of the fridge.

Make sure you rap it in cling film to keep it away from air.
Take it out an hour or so before hand and it should be soft

hope she has a good birthday

Yes but take it out about an hour before they get there.

should be fine. if it dries out, add some milk. If separates, just whisk it back together. have fun.
