baking problem please help?!


Question: Baking problem please help?
ok me and a few friends are trying to bake a spider man cake. we need red frosting but we are stuck on two ways of making it.

1.we use regular food dye in order to make it.
2.buying frosting dye(that i heard is VERY bitter

any ideas?

Get a woman to make it, it's their job.

frosting dye will give you better color using less of the dye that store food coloring but if you use a lot of ANY food coloring, even the "tasteless" you will taste it.
Official decorating color paste, gel or powder is the way to go and available at any store that sells cake decorating supplies.

Wilton makes a no-flavor red food color. If it is not at your grocery store, go to a craft store like A C Moore, Michael's, or JoAn Fabrics.
