How long should i defrost 2.4kg beef joint for?!


Question: How long should i defrost 2.4kg beef joint for?
I have a massive 2.4kg joint of beef that i want to cook on sunday. I will start cooking it at 1pm on sunday so when should i take it out of the freezer to deforst in the fridge? tomorrow lunchtime? earlier?

Put it in the fridge to defrost now.

Take it out tomorrow.

To cook on Sunday take it out freezer on Friday teatime.

I'd take it out today.
