depends on wot u mean by 'unusual icin recipes'. if ur lookin for somethin different try marbled effect, or makin fondant toppings.
Not unusual, but make up a standard buttercream and add the insides of half a dozen or so passion fruit. The colour and texture make it unusual, but it tastes great.
This is a cake filling but could be used to decorate the outside of a cake.
Melt Marshmallows add to icing, add food colouring and flavouring. Bobs your uncle.
