Ingredients
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
1 lb. ground beef or ground turkey
1 medium yellow onion, peeled and chopped fine
1/2 cup best-quality ketchup
1/2 cup best-quality chili sauce
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon coarse salt
freshly cracked black pepper
1/3 cup water
6 sesame seed topped hamburger buns, warmed
Method
Brush a skillet with oil and warm over moderate heat, 30 seconds. Add beef [or turkey] and onion and sauté 10 minutes, stirring frequently. Add all remaining ingredients [except buns] and simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes. Spoon mixture between split buns and serve immediately.
I think you are asking about Worchestershire Sauce and I put it on my burgers before grilling or frying, I used it in a Tawny Port Reduction sauce, I use it in my roast beef, etc.
I put it in my meatloaf all the time, but I don't have a set recipe for this, I just throw in what I know will taste good.
Worcestershire sauce. You can use it to marinate beef steaks.
