Are these steaks still OK?!

Question: Are these steaks still OK?
I have a sealed package of cube steaks in my fridge with a 'Use or Freeze By' date of 2-1-11. Today is the 4th (oops).

They look and smell absolutely fine ... They couldn't be spoiled, could they? Just wondering if the flavor will be affected. Should I cook them for dinner? Or give them to the dogs?

If it makes a difference, I was planning to bread and pan-fry them, then bake in the oven for an hour in a sauce.

Thanks!

Those sound good. Steelers are going to get cooked! Go Green bay!!

Well smell alone will NOT tell you if there bad because some bacteria does not have a smell, if they are still mostly red and not slimey they should be fine. I would not bread them and put in a sauce though. you can flour them in seasoned flour and fry then braise in a sauce. And keep a little piece of one, maybe 2inch piece just in case you do get sick you have something to check if it was the meat.

Look good, smell good, cook em today !

Enjoy your dinner...And don't worry the steaks are fine.....

Happy cooking........

As long as they smell OK, they are fine. Cook them today though.

There just fine, Enjoy

Be safe, throw them out.
