Alternatives for frosting and icing when making cake balls?!?!

Question: Alternatives for frosting and icing when making cake balls?!?
I'm making cake balls but I don't have any frosting or icing or cream cheese or even coffee creamer. I'm using german chocolate cake mix and strawberry cake mix with vanilla almond bark. Any suggestions at all??

powdered sugar and cocoa are beautiful alternatives to frosting anytime.

One rather "generic" glaze is to mix milk into powdered sugar until it is just thin enough to drizzle over the cake. You can add a little vanilla extract to improve the flavor, and if you wish, you may add food coloring.

Peanut butter also makes a good glaze, especially with chocolate cake. Scoop a few tablespoons of peanut butter into a microwave-safe dish and microwave on half power one minute at a time, stirring after each minute, until it is melted. If you wish, you may add a tablespoon of either granulated or powdered sugar.

powdered sugar
fruit
