NOTHING HAHAHA

Sodium chloride is salt. It does not matter where you obtained it. Salt is salt. Your body cannot tell the difference. Most purveyors of sea salt sell a product that is contaminated with other minerals and claim that this contamination is beneficial. They make money selling a product to you that they claim is more healthful. Salt is salt, I like to add my own minerals.

Sea salt is a mixture of different salts. Table salt is pure sodium chloride. Nothing bad about it. Table salt may have iodide added, and unless you like to walk around with tumor like growths on your neck, table salt is just fine. People freak out over the silliest stuff. Sea salt has a slightly different flavor. I like it. It is not and should not be part of your nutrition equation.

It's better for you, because it contains all the minerals. Regular salt or table salt is processed and some of the good stuff that the body needs are taken out. Also some chemicals are added to the regular salt in the process, and that's not so good if you ask me. Take care.

You might want to try Fleur de Sel - The top of the line sea salt. Expensive - Available in gourmet shops. Best from Portugal and France. It is salt that floats on the top of the sea . Therefore is the purist. Regular sand from salt mines will always have a bit of sand or dirt mixed in.

Alyssa Toole and Jens Dman are wrong. Sea salt is NOT healthier for you. Sodium is sodium whether it comes from table salt or sea salt. As a matter of fact sea salt is less healthy for you because it contains no iodine (iodine is added to table salt).

it has trace minerals from the sea, hence the taste difference but sodium wise, it is exactly the same.
All salt was at one time sea salt.....
there is no evidence that it is "better for you"
There are not THAT many added minerals in it.

sea salt is better for you than table salt. it was obtained by the evaporation of sea salt. people (including myself) think it is better tasting than regular salt. it is also healthier (like i said.)

if you accidentally add too much salt, it is Very Forgiving unlike regular table salt. It might even be healthier too.

It's pure and free of additives. It has a kinder and more gentle taste than fine table salt.

Nothing. It is suppose to be better for you, but I saw on The Doctor's that it is not.

It has trace minerals which are good for you

it gives a more I guess vivid flavor....like a kick
