For a pecan pie filling, what type of crust do i use?!


Question: For a pecan pie filling, what type of crust do i use?
Like do i use a normal apple pie crust as usual or a Graham cracker crust? Thanks!

usually you use a regular crust like an apple pie but it's really up to you...it's your pie.



I would go with the normal pie crust. Graham cracker crusts are usually sweet (depending on the sugar content). Sweet crust with a sweet filling might be too sweet... I suggest you use the normal crust to calm the pallet.

pastry crust is traditional. Graham cracker crust works best on pies/desserts that don't need long cooking times.



Tradition says pastry crust. Your pie, your choice, though.
