Question: Adding egg whites to a cake mix?
What happens if you add egg whites to a cake mix before they have reached the white peak stage?

Answers:

well, never tried it, but I am pretty sure it creates a more fluffy cake like, angel food. but then again, angel food cake uses ALOT of egg whites.
