Culinary school help needed?!

Question: Culinary school help needed?
so i moved to europe for culinary but dont speak the language well and have issues writing and reading. i was hoping for a little help from the school but they are doing nothing so i have two choices of what i can do...

first pull out of school, attend a language school 2 days a week and then have the chef follow the schools curriculum but teach me in english and take the test in three years just as planned and receive all the certifications i would have if attending school.

the second is that i pull out of school now, attend a language school three days a week (15 euro per week) and then restart my first year at the school again in 6 months, having to start all over again from day one level one on.

which option would you choose and why.... please serious constructive answers i need advice!!! thx

Answers:

this is awful. An expensive lesson in asking questions later, hunh? If you withdraw, won't you lose your seat and your tuition? Plus, if language school is only 3 days a week, what do you do with the rest of your time? Presumably you can't work bc you're on a student visa.

both options sound the same in that you must leave school now. Talk to admissions and make sure they will hold a seat. Make sure they understand your withdrawal is due to language barriers. (That's not their problem, but their literature should say all classes are conducted in Mandarin, or whatever).

It is to your advantage to complete your training at the school, bc their credentials will presumably open more doors for you than a one-on-one tutelage.

I would take a culinary class right here. There are some really good schools right here where I live, in Chicago.
