How to Make Five minute Chocolate Cake using Hot Cocoa mix Use Hot cocoa mix to make a quick mug cake.

The internet is buzzing with a five minute chocolate cake you fix in a coffee mug. It really only takes three minutes in the microwave, so I don't exactly know where the name came from. I had to try it but of course I have to make it even easier! I used two packets of hot cocoa mix instead of the cocoa, sugar, and milk in the original. It was good!

Things You'll Need:

* Hot cocoa mix, two packets
* two tablespoons flour
* three tablespoons oil
* water three tablespoons
* one egg
* splash of vanilla if you want..not required.
* coffee mug you can microwave

Instructions
1.
Oil the mug or spray with cooking spray. Then add three tablespoons of oil. You are just minutes away from chocolate cake!
2.
Add two packets of cocoa Mix and flour. Mix well with fork. Then add remaining ingredients and stir well with a fork. You are now ready to bake your five minute chocolate cake in a mug, but remember it only bakes three minutes in the microwave.
3.
Place in microwave for no more than three minutes. It will puff up so pretty, but don't be concerned. Watch it, but don't stop it when it starts to puff. This was fun .... kind of like jiffy pop corn in the sixties when we didn't have microwave popcorn. The top would puff up when you heated it! Voila! chocolate cake!
4.
Remove and let it stand a few minutes. Then run a knife around it to loosen it. Dump it on a plate. I think it is great hot, and my husband prefers it cold.
5.
Options for serving:
You can split it in half and top with ice cream and whipped cream or chocolate sauce for dessert for two. Or put ice cream between the layers and then fudge and whipped cream for a great hot fudge cake for ONE. (ME) or you could keep a tub of icing in the fridge to ice individual cakes. If you split it, it is a nice little serving for one.

Tips & Warnings
Five minute chocolate cake in a mug using hot cocoa mix is especially quick, easy and uses ingredients you probably have at home. It is wonderful for those middle of the night chocolate cravings!

Here's one...

How to Make Fudge Using Instant Hot Chocolate Mix

Instructions:

Things You'll Need:

At least 3 to 4 packs of instant hot cocoa mix, generic is fine.
peanut butter
butter

1
put about a third of a cup of water in the microwave to get hot. Add the cocoa packets one at a time stir as you go. After it disolves return it to the microwave 30 seconds at a time for the first 2 minutes. You must pay attention and watch it as depending on the power and heat of your microwave it can and will boil over.

2
Test drop a little of the chocolate mixture into very cold water to see if upon cooling it hardens. you will continue to heat and check until it reaches medium to hard ball stage. You can do it more but it will be tootsie rolls if you aren't careful.

3
Once you see it is getting suffiently firm in the cold water let it cool just a little then start adding peanut butter a tablespoon at a time until it is about the consistency of a very thick icing. It does start cooling it off at the same time it is melting the peanut butter. You will feel it getting thick. Coat the bottom of a dish or pan with a thin layer of butter so it won't stick to it and spread it out about a 1/2 inch thick. When it cools cut it into 2 inch squares and get a glass of milk.

Tips & Warnings:

Remember to have the plate ready because if it cools and hardens too quick you will not be able to spread it..you can use chunky peanut butter if you like bits of nuts..Microwaves are very different from brand to brand this candy will be hot enough to burn you badly use an oven mitt if you have to..Do not try to taste the fudge before it is cooled you will burn your mouth..
