making a pizza- can i make the base, cook it and leave over night?!

Question: Making a pizza- can i make the base, cook it and leave over night?
i would use the typical ingredients, so could i cook the base and leave it for a day or two days and then decorate it? or should i decorate and then cook the base

It is all about how you see pizza, but for me, pizza is pizza because its dough is baked together with the sauce and toppings. The top of the crust merge with the sauce and cheese during the baking process and, in my opinion, that makes pizza different from toast with cheese on top.

Also, the nice yeasty flavor can be enjoyed only right after it is baked. If you make it from scratch, let's eat it when it's most delicious!

You can leave a dough in a fridge overnight. It will look different, but I'm sure its still better than using a pre-baked crust.

Not sure, but it should work fine as long as it is stored safely. I would just precook for about 5 minutes to set the dough. Good Luck I hope someone on here has tried this and fills us in.

I think you should decorate it first then bake It and then you can leave it over night.

If you can go to the supermarket and buy ready made bases I don't see why not.
