How to make lucky charms-type marshmallows at home?!

Question: How to make lucky charms-type marshmallows at home?
I love those little marshmallows to put in trail mix. But, I hate buying lucky charms and only eating the marshmallows. I don't want to buy any of them packaged because shipping them is expensive and takes too long. SO, how can I make them at home? I don't have a dehydrator, is this a problem? If there a recipe and steps to follow to make them?
Only respond if you have an intelligent answer about making them at home, not if you're going to tell me to go buy them. Thanks!

Answers:

Well, you already figured it out in your question: the marshmallows in Lucky Charms are marshmallows that have been dyed, shaped ... and dehydrated, and a dehydrator is going to give you the best results with your marshmallows

You could use a very low oven (180 degrees F [if your oven even goes that low]) but you would probably want use of your oven before they were adequately dehydrated.

I do know that some candy stores sell dehydrated marshmallows and call them "candied marshmallows"

Maybe you can email General Mills and see if they will sell you a 10 lb bag of them
