I messed up this recipe?!

Question: I messed up this recipe?
Okay well I was making these blonde brownies and it said to beat together cake mix, eggs, and butter. I wasn't reading it correctly and accidentally mixed together the cake mix, butter, and cream cheese. What I was supposed to do was mix the cake mix, eggs, and butter and pat in down in the pan like a crust and then in a seperate bowl mix together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and two more eggs and poor this over the crust. Because I had messed up so bad at the beginning I just combined all of the ingredients and they are now baking, do you think there is any hope for my brownies? What could I do to save them? Please help!

Answers:

You won't get blonde brownies, and it won't be what you expected, but you will get something that will probably taste ok when it is done baking.
Don't give up on it..... just might be a new taste sensation... :)

When things go wrong you have to improvise and hope for the best. If you have more cream cheese, then just continue as though you hadn't made a mistake. And it might be ok.

Or you could try topping the brownies with a mixture of peanut butter and powdered sugar. (And then drizzle with chocolate syrup if you want.)

If it doesn't work, toss it out and no one will know.

If it does work, then it was your idea all along.

NEVER admit a mistake!

You may have something here. Messing up is how us great cooks got where we are today. Bake it and try it with all the test tasters and they will judge.
