I don't think technology supports the idea of food, but rather we utilize technology to support food.
I think cooking is on it's own. Technology just makes it easier.
Not really sure what you mean by this question. I mean, on one hand, if you're looking for tools to support cooking, then you'd look at things like appliances, cooking shows, recipes, cook books, cooking gadgets, utensils, ingredients, etc.
