Would a strawberry jello swirl/poke cake topped with white chocolate ganache be too sweet?!

Question: Would a strawberry jello swirl/poke cake topped with white chocolate ganache be too sweet?
I'm planning on making a strawberry swirl/poke cake (boxed white cake mix) to take into work, but I can't decide on a topping. I'm stuck between either a whipped topping or white chocolate ganache? Many people said that the ganache sounds good, but I worry that it would be too sweet. What are your thoughts?

Answers:

I think as long as you use the ganache in moderation it should be good. Ganache is very rich and white chocolate is very sweet so use less than you would use the whipped topping and it'll be great.

i think itd taste better than the whipped topping anyway.

I think it would be way to sweet. It calls for something light.
Like Cool Whip or a homemade whipped topping.
