Can I make a rose on a rose nail with white chocolate ganache frosting?!

Question: Can I make a rose on a rose nail with white chocolate ganache frosting?
here's the recipe I'm using http://carpecibus.tumblr.com/post/1672750452/happy-4th-birthday
I want to make a rose top instead of just putting the frosting on how it is in the picture. Is the frosting able to make roses?

You can use ganache to make a rose but you have to let the ganache cool first, then you have to whip it up so it is fluffy. You can either put it on your mixer or just take a wooden spoon and stir it until it is fluffy. You can then use the ganache to ice a cake, using a spatula, or you can use it in a piping bag to make a rose.

OKAY......I answered first....then looked at your recipe. Yes, you can make it just like that recipe and you will be able to make roses with it.

I'd say yes. The main problem you will have is keeping the temperature at a happy medium. If you get it too warm it'll go all mushy, too cold and it will probably crack while piping. It will take a few practice tries but you should get the feel for it.

You may also want to make a practice one and let it sit out at room temperature just to see how durable it will be at service temperature.
