can you make choco mint cookies from oreos?!

Question: Can you make choco mint cookies from oreos?
I googled this, and most just dip the cookies in melted chocolate mint chips.. or crush the cookies and make truffles.. but im wondering about the cream.. my idea is to scrap the cream out, and mix it with some mint extract, then re-spread it back on the wafers, then dip them into melted dark chocolate.. I want the inside to taste minty, not the chocolate.. does anyone think this would work.. I love the mint timtams and arnots mint cookies that seem similar to this idea, but our stores dont always carry these brands..

It would be a bit time consuming but I think it would work.
I would suggest adding a small amount of butter cream frosting (or any frosting) to what you scrape out.
There's not much cream in an Oreo it might be easier to work with a little extra. (I know I would need extra filling to not end up with a bunch of extra cookies, haha)
A few tablespoons of butter and powdered sugar along with the mint extract should make a tasty filling when added to the Oreo cream.

Good luck!
