Can you make fudge with any cold milk that's in your fridge or does it have to be with evaporated milk?!

Question: Can you make fudge with any cold milk that's in your fridge or does it have to be with evaporated milk?
Answers:

Not really. Evap is thick, creamy and concentrated. And dense.
Regular milk will be too runny and your cake won't be as rich.

yes you can if you cook it long enough on average heat , just below boiling to reduce it and thicken.
put a lid 90% over it so it doesn't skin over, but enough it won.t boil over.

If the recipe calls for evap. milk you cant use reg.
Evap. milk is a concentrated milk
