Question: Is it ok to make a batch of fish pie to be eaten on the next following day?. Can it be reheated?
does it have to be thawed before popping it into the oven???>.i dont intend to use potato but pastry...im bringing a batch over to a friend...would it be ok to take it out from the fridge and travel about 5 minutes and popping it back into the fridge until dinner???...will thawing gives soggyness to the pie???

It should be OK. Keep well refrigerated (not frozen, although it can be frozen for longer periods of storage). As it is winter, taking it outside should be no problem. I agree with the other answer that it should be reheated in the oven and not the microwave to maintain crispness. The important thing is to ensure that it is piping hot throughout before serving.
