Can I substitute whole wheat flour for this recipe?!

Question: Can I substitute whole wheat flour for this recipe?
I'm moving in a few days and don't want to buy a gigantic bag of all purpose flour. I have some whole wheat flour and some better for bread flour and would like to put either to use in making banana bread. Here's the recipe: http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/banana-bread-recipe/index.html. I made it before and it tastes excellent and would like to keep using this recipe. Any suggestions?

Thanks! :)

I just baked two loaves using bread flour and substituting one cup of whole wheat flour for one of the bread flour. They turned out excellent, if I do say so myself.

Hi! Whole wheat flour is absolutely a great substitute. I recommend using slightly less than what the recipe calls for because Whole Wheat flour is "heavier" as far as consistency. It could make the batter a little dry. The better for bread flour would be great as well... I almost think it would be better, unless you're watching calories or fat, in which case, the whole wheat is an excellent alternative. You can sub WW flour in most cases... Trial and error! =) Good Luck! I may have to try that recipe, banana bread sounds amazing now!
