No caster sugar, can I still make Shortbread?!


Question: No caster sugar, can I still make Shortbread?
I have run out of caster sugar and I need it to bake shortbread. Can I use brown sugar or granulated sugar instead? Thanks.

I always use granulated because i don't do the shopping and my family never buy caster. i use granulated and it tastes fine, no texture problems. I love sugar and cooking!!!!
