What herb/seasoning would go well with my recipe?!

Question: What herb/seasoning would go well with my recipe?
The recipe is:
300g strong plain wholemeal flour,
25g margarine,
1/2 tsp sugar,
1/2 tsp salt,
1 heaped tsp fast action yeast (i think this is one sachet),
250 ml warm water.
The recipe will make 4 brown rolls.

I'm also going to use 25g grated cheddar perhaps and I'd like to know what herbs go yummy with this recipe. If anyone knows any better things i could put in, great. However, I will be giving this to guests tomorrow and have no time to try anything out so I'd like to have some interesting and yummy rolls to serve that have some flavoring in,

Thanks

Answers:

Chopped chives would go well with the cheese. How about grated parmesan and chopped sundried or sunblush tomatoes?

I'd add 1 Tbs dry Thyme, 1/8 cup fresh grated Parmesan, 2 Tbs Virgin Olive oil and 1/4 cup roughly chopped Kalamata olives and sprinkle with sea salt, but that's just me.
