Crock Pot times for pork shoulder?!

Question: Crock Pot times for pork shoulder?
a recipe i have calls for 3 lb pork shoulder (pulled pork sandwiches) to be cooked 6 - 7 hours on low. i have two 3 lb pieces in there and set it on high (as i figured more meat would require more cook time and don't have much more than 8 hours total). with that amount of meat and on high, how long should i cook it for?
i am a complete cooking idiot, so i have truly no idea. i know that "1 hour on high = 2 hours on low" and that's it. any help would be soooooo greatly appreciated :)

Season your meat well. Put in crock pot with about 1 cup liquid such as water or beef broth. I use my crock pot all the time and meat turns out real tender falls apart mmm good:) Cook on low for 8 hours. Don't open lid because it will take longer to cook if you open it.
