can you stack meat in a crock pot?!
We are cooking a side of beef for the game today, but it is too big to fit in the crock pot. Any reason we shouldn't cut it in half stack it?

I wouldn't recommend it because, it's not going to cook evenly and you would have to alternate the meat periodically to allow even cooking, which in return is going to slow down your cooking time drastically. Do you have a large roaster or can you get an aluminum one at the store because, you can roast it in the oven instead and it would have better flavor too. How about your bbq grill too if you have one. Email me for recipes if you need one. Good luck!
