What can i add to make this recipe more interesting?!

Question: What can i add to make this recipe more interesting?
I have a recipe for 4 brown bread rolls

The recipe is:
300g strong plain wholemeal flour,
25g margarine,
1/2 tsp sugar,
1/2 tsp salt,
1 heaped tsp fast action yeast (i think this is one sachet),
250 ml warm water.

What could i add? Cheddar i thought of. What else? I don't want to change anything

BQ: what goes with cheddar and brown bread?

Answers:

Keep it the same, and add the cheddar, just make an amazing red onion chutney to go with it. Use balsamic vinegar and demerera sugar mmmm

I would add some herbs. What do you have on hand? What are you serving the rolls with? You could add some of the same flavorings from your main dish into the rolls. Dill? Oregano? Herbs de Provence? You could also brush the tops with some melted butter when they come out of the oven. Yum! Sounds delicious! Good luck......

I would add the cheddar after baking if you do not wish to change anything then add a fried egg and tomato with the cheese will buns are hot. I am eating one right now .

any kind of chopped nuts or chopped garlic
