The only fresh spinach I use is the uber-curly leaf kind, not the baby spinach. The baby spinach doesn't hold up as well as they curly leaf kind

Strip the leaves from the stems, discard the stems, and rough-chop the leaves



I always use fresh vs. frozen spinach for dips and everything else. M is correct, chop it up before adding it to the dip. I think it is better tasting and better for you. And you can still eat dip and chips and think "hey, it's got fresh spinach in it!" Enjoy the game......



Definitely. But you need to chop it, (preferably in the food processor on pulse) cook it and drain it all very well.
