Can someone help me with some substitutions for this recipe?!

Question: Can someone help me with some substitutions for this recipe?
I have a recipe that calls for a few ingredients that I don't have and was wondering if I can substitute the ingredients for something similar:
italian mascarpone cheese= ?
coffee liqueur= ?
espresso powder= ?

Answers:

Hi I come from tuscany and make tiramisu all the time! I'm also a foodblogger...
I don't use coffee liqueur in mine!
If you don't find mascarpone use philadelphia cheese 500 g / 2 eggs / 2 tbs sugar / 6 small cups full of liquid espresso coffee.
Begin by beating the egg whites - then add the sugar and keep beating / add the reds and continue beating - finally add the philadelphia and keep on beating. (Clearly I use a robot)_ Next all you have to do is dip your biscuits in the coffee and layer with the cream - then biscuits and then one more layer of cream.
Your tiramisu is ready!

I'm sorry but for your tiramisu you can't substitute mascarpone with something else, you can close an eye by changing expresso powder in sour chocolate powder (don't even think about nespresso instant coffee!!!)... but for mascarpone if you cant find it... please choose some other italian dessert... like the awsome "panna cotta"
Here's the recipe

Ciao bella

You can substitute cream cheese for mascarpone, instant coffee powder for espresso powder and sweetened coffee for liquer, but your Tiramisu won't taste very good.

Mascarpone cheese is a cream cheese, so regular or low fat cream cheese or ricotta cheese. Coffee liquer- strong coffee, any other liquer. Expresso powder- instant coffee.
