Is it ok to pre-coat pork loin chops?!

Question: Is it ok to pre-coat pork loin chops?
I invited my brother over for dinner for Pork Milanese but forgot that I am going to a cooking demonstration at 3:30pm (Martin Yan - can't wait) that is either 1 hour or 1-1/2 hours but 30 minutes away. I am wondering if it is ok to prepare the pork loin chops (dip in flour, then eggs, then bread crumb & Parmesan cheese mixture) and let it sit for 5 or 6 hours and then when I come home, cook it. Didn't know if maybe it would be too soggy.

Thanks!

Answers:

Go ahead and bread them then layer them between parchment paper and cook as usual.

Yes you can....but if it were me I would want to do it right before cooking...Sitting that many hours the coating will get soggy...

Good luck...
