cooking beef stew help!!!please?!
used minced ginger by accident in my beef stew in stead of minced garlic ....got all the pieces out but it still smells like ginger.Any idea what i could use to get rid the smell/taste ?!?!

Don't worry 'bout it the smell will dissipate and ginger is not a strong flavor. It may end up tasting better since it is used in a lot of chinese sauces.
Add raw potatoes & Garlic plus Worchestershire Sauce this will help mask the ginger - throw the potatoes away after cooking and replace them with canned potatoes at the end
Replace the stock with canned and add some raw potatoes, the starch will thicken it a bit and absorb some flavors. You won't get it out entirely
