Use ceramic coffee cup
Yes! Coffee Mugs. Demitasse cups or express cups if they are oven safe. (water~ bath).
Muffin tins. I have used metal ones before (the dark Teflon kind) when it was a recipe calling for ramkins. I put the tins in a water~ bath because I was making custard, so if your recipe is dainty, perhaps you can try that. When I make cakes or something not so fragile I just cook them. Hope this helps. (with a muffin tin you can usually fit it in a 9 x 13 baking pan with water in it just add the water after you put the tin in to the pan).
Sponge puddings can be made in anything that will withstand heat from the oven. OR you can steam them in a bowl of boiling water but they have to be covered or the steam will spoil the sponge. You can put the mixture into a basin - cover with a pleated piece of grease proof paper and tie round the rim of the bowl. This method takes longer than the oven but I find them much more moist.
