How long do i sautee potatos before they are cooked?!


Question: How long do i sautee potatos before they are cooked?
Im trying to make this dish, its potato's ( the little red ones) and onions garlic, cod fish and boiled egg pieces. im trying to saute the potatos a bit before i add the fish. How long to red potato's take to cook when they are being sauted? thank you! id appreciate it , by the way they are sliced into small pieces and i know they must be a golden color but i am just wondering so i dont burn them!! haha thanks for the input!

Really it is just based on when they turn golden! Just saute them the way you usually do and when they've turned golden they'll be done. It shouldn't take very long, keep an eye on them when you do it the first time and then after that you'll know :)



Cut your raw potatoes into little cubes/oblongs and gentle boil until fairly soft. Then put them into hot oil in the frying pan until golden and crispy.



You know how potatoes are sorta transparent? Once they turn a solid white they're done and then they'll brown after that and be done.
